Position Overview
The Software Engineer IV is responsible for the development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications. This role provides technical leadership, oversees application performance, resolves system issues, and partners with business and technology teams to deliver scalable software solutions. The position also contributes to process improvements, code optimization, system modernization, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications and software solutions.
- Monitor application and system performance, identify issues, and implement improvements.
- Lead installation, configuration, testing, and deployment of software solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and business stakeholders on project delivery.
- Analyze system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create technical documentation, reports, and operational procedures.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Maintain ownership of key processes and provide technical expertise across initiatives.
Current Project: Frontier AI Initiative
This team is supporting Frontier AI modernization and security initiative, focused on:
- Remediating vulnerabilities across 13 enterprise applications.
- Automating credential and secret management within Harness CI/CD pipelines.
- Modernizing legacy applications and converting them to current-state technologies.
- Supporting application modernization efforts across multiple technology portfolios.
- Leveraging GitHub and GitHub Copilot as part of the development and automation strategy.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with:
- .NET Core / ASP.NET
- React.js
- JavaScript
- AWS Cloud
- SQL Server
- GitHub
Preferred Experience
- GitHub Copilot experience.
- Application modernization and legacy system conversion projects.
- CI/CD pipeline automation and security remediation initiatives.
- Experience working with both Azure and GitHub environments during platform migrations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
