Software Engineer IV (C#/.NET/Harness)
Remote- CST/EST Hrs.
5-month contract
Pay Rate: $75.00 - $84.00per hr.
Our client is seeking a Software Engineer IV to support vulnerability remediation and large-scale application migration initiatives. This engineer will work closely with an established development team and will be responsible for significant hands-on development, migration, and modernization work.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on software development using C#/.NET.
- Support vulnerability remediation and application modernization efforts.
- Perform heavy application migration and source-control migration activities.
- Work with GitHub and migrate applications from one source-control platform to another.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, with specific experience using Harness.
- Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) and related DevOps practices.
- Support API development and integration activities.
- Create clear technical documentation and maintain accurate documentation within Jira.
- Document development work, requirements, testing, and resolution details.
- Participate in daily standups and Agile development activities.
- Collaborate with other C# developers and senior team members.
Required Skills
- Strong professional experience developing with C#/.NET.
- Experience with Harness
- Experience with GitHub.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Experience migrating applications and/or source control from one platform to another.
- Experience developing and working with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Harness.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create clear technical documentation and detailed Jira updates.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Bonus Skills- MuleSoft / API development experience.
- Experience with Voltage SDK.
- Additional DevOps, cloud, deployment, or application modernization experience.
