Responsibilities

  • Be a part of a team of dedicated professionals who works on critical and strategic projects within Intune.
  • Works on projects that requires engineers capable of delivering robust designs and code across both backend microservices and frontend interfaces.
  • Operates effectively in a dynamic agile environment, requiring proficiency in debugging and optimizing tasks across multiple services and teams.
  • Places a high value on collaboration, customer focus, and an open culture that strives for success in both technology and people.
  • Designs, builds, and manages cloud service features at high scale and availability.
  • Have end-to-end ownership of scenarios that directly impact customer experience and facilitate the simplification of administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Rust, or Python.

  • OR Masters Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Rust, or Python.

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Passion for launching great consumer experiences

  • Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills

  • Great communication skills to collaborate with cross-group and work effectively within the team

  • Expertise in distributed systems and/or big data technologies

  • Experience in developing large scale online services, mobile and desktop platforms

  • Commitment to contributing to team culture

  • Desire to exceed what our customers ask of us

Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,400 - $168,100 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $111,100 - $183,700 per year.
