    What You'll Do at Pega:


    As an Intern on the Platform Security team, you will:


    + Contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of core security capabilities, including encryption, authentication, authorization, and vulnerability mitigation.

    + Collaborate with experienced engineers to solve real-world security challenges within a large-scale enterprise platform.

    + Participate in building secure, scalable, and resilient software solutions.

    + Explore and apply AI tools and concepts to drive innovation and improve security-related processes.

    + Support testing, debugging, and continuous improvement efforts across the platform security ecosystem.

    + Gain hands-on experience working in an Agile development environment while making meaningful contributions to the Pega Platform.

    What You've Accomplished


    + Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.

    + Basic understanding of application security concepts, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and vulnerability mitigation.

    + Familiarity with security testing tools and techniques such as static analysis, dynamic analysis, or penetration testing methodologies.

    + Foundational knowledge of web technologies, cloud platforms, APIs, and databases.

    + Academic, project, or internship experience demonstrating an interest in software engineering and cybersecurity principles.
