We are currently sourcing for a Software Engineer in Test to work in Durham, NC!
You will be working with a team of technologists passionate about delivering Automation, Continuous Integration, and Test Data ecosystems. This role demands significant collaboration with members of various business and IT groups throughout the lifecycle of a typical project.
As a technical associate, you will work directly to develop the technology vision and have a real impact on the success of the Corporate Services Technology organization.
The CORE Real Estate and Workplace Experience team, as part of Corporate Services Technology, is responsible for building, space, and workplace initiatives and associate experience across corporate campuses. This includes key applications such as The Hub, a native iOS and Android application for all associates, Reservations, Amenities, Navigation, and Event Management.
6+ years of test automation development using Java or a similar language.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
Experience with fundamental test automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
Experience with source code management and the software delivery lifecycle (Git, Bitbucket, etc.).
Validated technical skills (e.g., SQL, HTML, JavaScript, Java, or Python).
Experience in native application or cross-platform testing (e.g., Appium preferred; Eggplant, Espresso, XCTest, Jasmine, etc., optional).
Demonstrated experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins Core.
Experience in containerized test execution using Docker.
Demonstrated experience with test case management tools, test case definitions, and test reporting.
Ability to balance test automation goals with manual functional testing requirements.
Proven ability to work independently as part of an Agile Sprint or Kanban team/squad.
Experience with Agile methodologies and toolsets (Jira).
Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical skills.
Experience driving projects in an Agile environment.
Ability to collaborate with other technical and business experts on the team.
Curiosity to stay ahead of new and emerging technologies and concepts, finding ways to apply them to business problems.
Passion for following modern test-driven and automation-driven software development methodologies.
Ability to design, develop, maintain, and implement automated tests while adopting industry-standard processes and tools.
