In this role, you will work with a team of technologists who are passionate about Quality Assurance and Engineering. As a member of this team, you will partner with development and business teams in both manual and test automation efforts.
Your primary responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test scripts for web application reliability using the Selenium automation framework with Java. You will perform regression testing and accelerate software delivery using Selenium, along with test management and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools.
You will test and validate applications that rely on unstructured or semi-structured data, ensuring accurate data storage and retrieval using SQL and NoSQL databases. You will also test web applications and RESTful APIs, apply QA engineering and software development concepts to test cases and functional automation, track defects and issues, participate in defect triage and production release verification, and help deliver high-quality business solutions through software applications.
Develop original and creative technical solutions for ongoing development efforts.
Design applications or subsystems for major projects across multiple platforms.
Develop applications supporting multiple projects and divisional initiatives.
Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
Assist in planning and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting corporate initiatives.
Perform post-installation testing and troubleshoot production issues.
Establish project plans for projects of moderate scope.
Work on complex assignments across multiple phases of projects.
Perform independent technical and functional analysis for multiple initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience.
5+ years of software product development experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.
Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong hands-on experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium (TestNG), Playwright, and Karate.
Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
Good understanding of web services testing, with experience in RestAssured preferred.
Good understanding of Jenkins as a CI tool and its configuration.
Experience working with Oracle and SQL databases.
Highly collaborative with the ability to influence others and build strong internal and external partnerships.
Hands-on experience driving innovation from concept through implementation.
Experience working in a DevOps environment is preferred.
