Description

  • PROLIM is currently seeking an Engineer Software 3 for one of our top clients, Northrop Grumman Corporation, in Redondo Beach, CA.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work on highly classified defence programs supporting the Western Region Software Engineering Department.
  • The selected candidate will develop, maintain, and enhance mission-critical software applications while working in a secure SCIF environment.
  • Must have : US Citizenship

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications.
  • Develop object-oriented software solutions using C++.
  • Analyze system requirements and software capabilities.
  • Collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineering teams.
  • Develop and maintain software for Linux-based environments.
  • Produce technical documentation and operating instructions.
  • Participate in software integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with software engineering standards and best practices.
  • Support Agile software development activities.
  • Work within secure government environments supporting classified programs.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, OR
  • Master's degree with 10+ years of experience, OR
  • PhD with 8+ years of experience
  • Additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) experience
  • Strong C++ programming experience
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Ability to obtain SCI eligibility
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • DevSecOps and Test Automation experience
