Software Engineer III (C#/.Net)
Remote- CST/EST Hrs.
6-month contract
Pay Rate: $65.00 to $70.00 per hr.
We are seeking a Software Engineer III to join an established, fully remote team supporting .NET applications and SQL processes. The team is geographically dispersed and does not share a common office.
This role will be heavily focused on remediating vulnerabilities in existing application code. Security/code scanning tools identify vulnerabilities and frequently provide guidance toward the appropriate remediation. A large backlog exists, so vulnerability remediation will be the primary focus of the engagement. Prior hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning, SAST, or other security scanning tools is not required. Strong .NET development and debugging experience is sufficient.
Responsibilities
- Review vulnerability findings and implement appropriate code remediation.
- Work through assigned items from the vulnerability backlog within required turnaround times.
- Develop, debug, and maintain .NET applications.
- Perform unit testing of code changes.
- Work with SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework, and stored procedures.
- Develop applications that are deployed through OpenShift.
- Monitor application pods and perform basic operational activities such as stopping/restarting pods when needed.
