Software Engineer III

Contract Rate: $50.00 - $70.00per hr / Salary Target: $100K - $120K

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications within a large-scale technology environment. This role will focus on building modern software solutions, developing backend services and APIs, troubleshooting application issues, and delivering scalable technology solutions that support critical business functions.

The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience with C# and .NET 8 Core, expertise building RESTful APIs, and hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies. Experience with React, Angular, and OpenShift is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications and software solutions.
• Build and enhance backend services using C# and .NET 8 Core.
• Develop and maintain scalable APIs and system integrations.
• Design and implement solutions leveraging AWS cloud technologies.
• Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and resolve technical challenges.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and code enhancements.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Support application deployments, production releases, and ongoing system improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to applications and solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience developing enterprise applications and backend solutions.
• Experience with software testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • C#
  • .NET 8 Core
  • Backend application development
  • RESTful API development
  • AWS cloud technologies
• Strong understanding of software architecture, application design, and system integration patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Frontend development experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes and containerized application environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.
• Experience supporting applications within financial services or other enterprise environments.
