    Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team! 

    Nightwing is seeking an experienced UI Front-End Software Engineer (SWE3) in support of Nightwing CODEX, directly meeting mission-critical needs in partnership with mission customers. This individual will lead a team of UI developers, designing front-end architecture and coding standards while remaining hands-on in development across the full software product lifecycle in an agile environment. The ideal candidate has strong front-end experience, translates UX/UI designs into accessible, production-ready interfaces, and mentors junior developers while collaborating closely with system engineers and product stakeholders to resolve technical problem areas.

    Qualifications:
    • Twelve (12) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
      • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
    • Seven (7) years' experience in Software Database and Repository Interface Development
    Responsibilities:
    • Lead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers, providing technical guidance, standards, and code review
    • Architect and implement scalable, maintainable front-end solutions using modern frameworks
    • Translate prototypes and design specifications into functional, responsive, and accessible interfaces
    • Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs, ensuring efficient data flow between front-end and back-end systems
    • Contribute to full-stack development efforts as needed, including backend services, database interactions, and deployment pipelines
    • Establish and enforce front-end coding standards, best practices, and component reuse across the team
    • Partner with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation
    • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, cross-browser issues, and technical debt
    • Participate in sprint planning, technical estimation, and architectural decision-making
    • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG) throughout development
    Required Skills:
    • Proven experience leading or mentoring a development team
    • Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
    • Full-stack experience, including backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java) and RESTful/GraphQL API design
    • Experience with state management, component-based architecture, and responsive design
    • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud a plus)
    • Experience working closely with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure accurate implementation of accessible interfaces
    Desired Skills:
    • Experience working with tiered architectural systems and in a Linux/Ubuntu environment
    Clearance:
    • TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph
