Title: Software Engineer II
Location: Menlo Park, CA (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
 
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our supply chain engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and enterprise applications supporting demand/supply planning, inventory, procurement, and purchase-order processes.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Application & Data Engineering: Develop enterprise-grade software and complex data pipelines using core programming languages.
  • Supply Chain Logic: Work directly with demand/supply planning, inventory management, procurement, and purchase-order workflows.
  • Problem Solving: Debug, optimize, and maintain complex backend systems to ensure high reliability and performance.
  • Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in Agile/Scrum delivery models, collaborating cross-functionally across engineering and operations teams.
 
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years of enterprise software development or supply-chain application experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with modern object-oriented or functional languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or comparable).
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of demand/supply planning, inventory, procurement, and purchase-order execution.
  • Data Engineering: Demonstrated experience building data pipelines in complex enterprise environments.
  • Methodology: Proven experience working within Agile or Scrum frameworks.
  • Core Skills: Strong analytical, debugging, and written/verbal communication skills.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Modeling: Experience building simulation, scenario-planning, optimization, or agent-based capabilities.
  • AI/ML: Knowledge of AI/ML, decision intelligence, or generative AI applications in supply chain planning.
  • Cloud & DevOps:
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Git, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Specialized Hardware Domain: Background in telecom, network infrastructure, optical systems, subsea systems, or hardware supply chains.
