Software Engineer II (C#/.NET)
Remote- EST/CST Hrs.
4-month contract
Pay Rate: $50.00 - $59.00per hr.

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer II oversee to support vulnerability remediation and significant application migration initiatives. This position is intended for a hands-on C# developer who can contribute to development, migration, DevOps, and application modernization efforts while working within an Agile development team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on software development using C#/.NET.
  • Support vulnerability remediation initiatives.
  • Assist with heavy application migration and modernization efforts.
  • Work with GitHub and support source-control migration activities.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) and DevOps tools and practices.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and deployment processes.
  • Support API development and integration activities.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation.
  • Provide thorough updates and write-ups for assigned Jira requests.
  • Take accurate technical notes and document work performed.
  • Participate in daily standups and Agile/Scrum activities.
  • Collaborate with C# developers and senior members of the team.
  • Complete development work for peer review and testing prior to production deployment.

Required Skills

  • 3 years of professional experience
  • Strong professional experience developing with C#/.NET.
  • Experience with GitHub.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Experience with application and/or source-control migrations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation and detailed Jira updates.
  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Bonus Skills

  • Harness experience preferred
  • MuleSoft / API development experience.
  • Experience with Voltage SDK.
  • Additional DevOps, cloud, deployment, or application modernization experience.
