The successful candidate will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Army Air Defense programs. Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following: Responsible for software development in the Java languageAssists with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation Minimum Education and ExperienceBachelors degree in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related field from an accredited college and at least 1 year related experience Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment dailySoftware engineering and software development with Java and/or C++ experiencePossess knowledge of basic software practices, including coding standards and configuration managementFamiliarity with Java foundation classes and toolkitsGood working knowledge of MS Office productsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as neededSelf-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environment Desired Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExperience working as part of an Agile team; understanding of Agile methodologyExperience with the following:Java SwingRuntime Modularity and Service Registries (OSGI, Apache felix)Runtime injection Frameworks (Google Guice, Spring)Kill chain experienceAnalysis Investigations using scriptsBackground in missile defene Security ClearanceCandidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.
