Software Engineer Full Stack (Java, AWS)

In this role, you will engage with product teams as a trusted technical partner to drive adoption, resolve complex technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation, and leverage your hands-on tech lead or senior contributor experience to elevate our technical capabilities. Hands-on coding experience with Core Java, Spring Ecosystem (Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, etc.), UI (Angular) and database (SQL).

Primary Talent Partners has a 12 month contract opening for a Software Engineer to join a national banking client for an onsite position operating out of Atlanta, GA. 

Pay: $68.00/hr - $78.00/hr
Contract: 12 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship; no PTO or benefits; ACA compliant medical package available for enrollment

Summary:
This entry level role will be for building applications that use java and python programming deployed into on-prem and cloud infrastructure. The applications will include frontend, backend, database access, REST APIs, messaging and AWS cloud services. Hands on coding experience is required in java and python. Good understanding in application lifecycle management, security, architecture patterns, DevOps is needed. They will be working with FTE developers in the value added services team supporting the Fraud and Risk management services.

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will follow approved lifecycle methodologies, create comprehensive design documents, and perform rigorous coding and testing while upholding the highest secure coding standards and practices.
• In this role, you will engage with product teams as a trusted technical partner to drive adoption, resolve complex technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation, and leverage your hands-on tech lead or senior contributor experience to elevate our technical capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
• Recent college graduates or 1-5 years’ experience.
• Hands-on coding experience with Core Java, Spring Ecosystem (Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, etc.), UI (Angular) and database (SQL)
• Hands-on experience with Unit, Integration, and Functional Testing experience
• Knowledge of building REST APIs
• Knowledge of AWS & Cloud Technologies
• Excellent communication
