Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a strong focus on full stack and backend development to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications supporting mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-performance software solutions, developing robust APIs and microservices, and collaborating across engineering teams to deliver reliable, modern applications in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.
- Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs supporting enterprise applications.
- Develop and optimize server-side logic, data processing workflows, and application integrations.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between backend services and user interfaces.
- Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Implement secure coding practices, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Utilize Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
- Support cloud-native application development within AWS environments.
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to support operational systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with expertise in full stack application development.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as:
- Experience developing applications using frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Experience developing applications within Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
- Experience with Git version control and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of secure software development principles, authentication, authorization, and application security.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile development teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing front-end applications using Angular or Vue.js.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of SecDevOps methodologies and secure software delivery practices.
- Experience with automated testing and test automation frameworks.
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
