    Description

    Overview

    Client is seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to support the full technology development lifecycle across system design, software development, automation, infrastructure upgrades, and software integration. This role will support aircraft software, high-fidelity simulators, virtual development labs, physical hardware, constructive simulations, and system-level models.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Develop, integrate, support, test, and debug software across multiple platforms and host environments.
    • Support software integration across aircraft software, high-fidelity simulators, laboratory environments, physical hardware, and system-level models.
    • Develop and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to maintain reliable and reproducible software builds.
    • Design and develop automation frameworks using open-source, commercial, and internally developed tools.
    • Support virtual development laboratories and aircraft software development workflows.
    • Collaborate with engineers, scientists, customers, and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
    • Participate in daily scrums, sprint reviews, technical demonstrations, and other Agile development activities.
    • Lead software projects and contribute to improvements in automation infrastructure, software integration, and build processes.

    Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

    • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a STEM discipline, or equivalent experience.
    • Experience programming in C++ and/or Java.
    • Experience developing software in Linux environments.
    • Experience working with simulation software environments.
    • Active Secret clearance with an investigation completed within the last 5 years or current Continuous Evaluation enrollment.

    Preferred Skills or Experience

    • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
    • Experience with real-time software development and integration.
    • Python programming experience.
    • Experience supporting software development for airborne systems.
    • Experience with aircraft sensors, datalinks, navigation systems, and/or weapons systems.
    • Experience with Open Mission Systems.
    • Experience leading software development or integration projects.
