Summary:
Develops, integrates, supports, and debugs software across multiple platforms including aircraft software, high-fidelity simulators, and lab setups with constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system-level models.
Owns and troubleshoots CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and reproducible builds.
Champions virtual development labs and aircraft-software workflows, keeping them nimble and user-friendly.
Designs and builds automation frameworks using open-source, commercial, and in-house tools.
Engages daily in scrums, sprint reviews, and technical demos to share progress and learn with the team.
Influences automation infrastructure, software integration, and build processes for critical programs.
Works across diverse host environments including aircraft software and simulated mission systems.
Performs software development in C++ and Python programming languages.
Develops software on Linux (RedHat or SUSE12) operating systems.
Works with simulation software environments and Digital Twin environments.
Requirements:
Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience programming in C++.
3+ years of experience programming in Python.
1-2 years of experience developing software on Linux (RedHat or SUSE12).
Experience with simulation software environments.
Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Experience with real-time software development and integration.
Experience with aircraft sensors, datalinks, navigation, and or weapons.
Experience with Open Mission Systems and leading software projects.
