Lead a team or teams responsible for technology solutions that meet business needs and satisfy risk and operational requirements of the Tech organization. Identify and resolve complex technical, operational, risk management, and organizational challenges for an LOB or several Sub LOBs. Leverage emerging technologies and automation to improve business efficiencies, enhance speed-to-market of solution delivery, and support business and enterprise transformation and optimization. Has full management responsibilities for teammates: hiring, disciplinary, coaching, terminating, performance reviews.

In an Agile environment: Act as an Agile champion. Primarily responsible for delivering high quality working software and automating manual/reusable tasks. Leverage engineering practices to deliver business value. Responsible for oversight of software engineering and unit testing, and supporting integration and functional testing. Oversee warranty support and knowledge transfer to production support. Ensure developed code is in accordance with the acceptance criteria established by the Product Owner.
Leadership * Experience leading a frontend or design system team (about 46 engineers) * Ability to manage people while still contributing code * Comfortable making technical decisions and adjusting them over time * Track record of improving code quality and consistency across teams * Clear, direct communication with engineers and designers Design System Work * Experience building and maintaining a shared design system used by multiple teams * Strong understanding of reusable, product?agnostic UI foundations * Ability to design stable, easy?to?use component APIs * Experience with design tokens, theming, and multi?theme setups * Strong CSS architecture skills using variables and theming patterns * Focus on performance and long?term maintainability Frontend Engineering * Strong hands?on experience with: * TypeScript * Web Components * Angular * HTML and CSS * High standards for readable, testable, maintainable code * Thorough code review skills with attention to correctness and structure * Experience helping application teams use and integrate the design system Accessibility & Testing * Practical knowledge of WCAG accessibility requirements * Experience building accessible components using ARIA where needed * Hands?on experience with: * Unit tests * Integration tests * Visual regression tests * Accessibility tests * Ownership of quality checks that prevent breaking or misusing the system DevOps & Delivery * Experience with Git workflows and GitLab * Ability to maintain CI/CD pipelines for a design system * Willingness to handle DevOps work when it helps the team move forward
