Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software for satellite space mission systems throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.

• Develops, maintains, enhances, and optimizes software products and functionalities for systems integrations.

• Develops, documents, and maintains architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products.

• Participates in the agile software development lifecycle including planning, reviews, and supporting customer meetings.

• Debugs and resolves issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.

• Performs software development, participates in code reviews, and adheres to guidance on software standards and design principles.

• Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development.

• Develops, establishes, monitors, and improves software processes, tools, and key performance metrics.

• Executes and documents software research and development projects.

• Advises on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• 5+ years of experience in software development.

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Java, C++, Python, and JavaScript.

• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and system-level validation in complex software environments.

• 5+ years of experience developing complex software applications and algorithmic solutions.

• 5+ years of experience leading software development projects.

• Experience with modern programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and Visual Basic.

• 1+ years of experience in a cloud computing environment including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies with ability to synthesize architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics, and constraints.
