We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

• Shift: 1st shift, start time 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (flexible, full 8-hour days). Hybrid (onsite as needed).

Summary: 

• Designs, develops, and tests software components and functions for B-52 Heavy Bomber systems.

• Supports development of software functional requirements for embedded real-time systems.

• Supports software architecture trades and revises existing architecture to meet new functions.

• Specifies internal and external software interfaces for system integration.

• Conducts software test-driven development for embedded systems.

• Conducts and supports peer reviews on all software lifecycle data.

• Contributes to Agile development team success and sprint commitments.

• Develops and integrates software including radar systems, hypersonic weapons systems, and digital communication infrastructure.

• Troubleshoots in high fidelity lab environment with aircraft hardware.

• Implements multi-threaded real-time applications using Ada programming language.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.

• 5+ years of experience with embedded (real-time) software development.

• Proficient in Ada programming language.

• Experience with Agile development practices.

• Preferred: Previous technical experience in an aerospace environment.

• Preferred: Proficiency in design and implementation of multi-threaded real-time applications.

• Preferred: Ability to problem solve in a clear and concise manner.
