AbouttheRole

Metrologic is looking for a Software Engineer to join our QDM/IFdevelopmentteam.Inthisrole,youwillhelpdesign,develop,andmaintainsoftwarethatenablesmanufacturersaroundtheworldtomanagequalitydata,analyzeprocessperformance,andmakeinformedproductiondecisions.

This is a full-stack engineering position where you'll work across Angular front-end applications,.NETservicesandAPIs,andPostgreSQLdatabases.You'llcollaboratecloselywithProductManagement,SoftwareQuality,andfellowdeveloperstodeliverhigh-qualitysoftwarethatissecure,scalable,andmaintainable.

DesignandBuildSoftwareSolutions

• DevelopandmaintainapplicationsusingC#,.NET,Angular,TypeScript,SQL,andPostgreSQL.
• Design,implement,andsupportRESTAPIsanddatabasesolutions.
• Createscalable,high-performingsoftwarewhilefollowingestablishedarchitectureandcodingstandards.
• Contributetotechnicalspecifications,APIcontracts,anddatamodeldesigns.

DeliverHigh-QualitySoftware

WhatWe'reLookingFor

Qualifications

• Bachelor'sorMaster'sdegreeinComputerScience,SoftwareEngineering,Mathematics,Statistics,IndustrialEngineering,MechanicalEngineering,orarelatedfield.
• 4+yearsofprofessionalsoftwaredevelopmentexperiencebuildingcommercialwebapplications.
• Strongexperiencewith:
  • C#and.NET
  • Angular,TypeScript,oracomparablemodernfront-endframework
  • SQLandrelationaldatabasedesign
• Understandingofsoftwaredevelopmentlifecyclepractices,versioncontrol,CI/CD,automatedtesting,anddefecttracking.
• Knowledgeofwebapplicationsecurity,authentication,andauthorization.
• Strongproblem-solvingskillsandtheabilitytoquicklylearnnewtechnicaldomains.
• Comfortworkingwithquantitativeandstatisticalconcepts.

PreferredQualifications

• ExperiencewithStatisticalProcessControl(SPC),processcapabilityanalysis,orMeasurementSystemsAnalysis(MSA).
• Manufacturing,inspection,metrology,orqualitysystemsexperience.
• PostgreSQLperformancetuningandlarge-volumedatamanagement.
