Software Engineer – Guidance Application Development (Multiple Openings)Overview
Our client,
CNH, is expanding its Guidance Application team and is seeking multiple Software Engineers to support development of next-generation guidance and automation software. These engineers will help accelerate delivery of new features and functionality within a modern Agile software environment focused on customer-facing guidance applications.
Position Summary
The Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of next-generation guidance software applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong C++ development experience within a Linux environment and be comfortable working in a collaborative Agile team responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain application-level software using C++ within a Linux environment.
- Design, implement, and test software features following modern clean architecture principles.
- Collaborate with software architects, systems engineers, UX teams, and fellow developers to deliver new functionality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Create and execute test cases associated with feature development.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects.
- Utilize Git for version control and Jira for work tracking and collaboration.
