Kforce's client in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a Junior to Intermediate Full-Stack Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience who is interested in growing into Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Solution Engineering. Summary: This hybrid role combines software development, application ownership, and operational support for key enterprise platforms, including ERP, ITSM/ESM, and Contact Center applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a software engineer who enjoys learning new technologies, owning critical business applications, and bridging the gap between software development and platform operations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as technical owner for enterprise applications, providing production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Partner with vendors on system upgrades, patching, releases, and ongoing maintenance
  • Ensure platform reliability, availability, and performance through monitoring and automation
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations, APIs, and custom applications using C#/.NET
  • Build and support front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries across MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases
  • Support system administration activities across Windows and Linux environments
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of full-stack software development experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development with a proven track record of resolving technical issues and programming defects independently
  • Backend & Frontend Stack: Hands-on experience as a C#/.NET programmer, alongside core front-end skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Database Development: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL database development (MSSQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL)
  • SDLC & Agile: Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with requirements analysis, system design, or test-driven programming is preferred
  • Familiarity with Scrum Agile methodologies is required
  • Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with SQL database development and query optimization
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and software design principles
  • Foundational knowledge of infrastructure concepts such as DNS, firewalls, caching, and SFTP
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux administration and shell scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with DevOps, SRE, or Operations Engineering concepts is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
