Engagement: Full-time, hybrid (onsite 4 days)
Salary: $180,000 – $220,000 (EUR 155,615 – EUR 190,196)

About the role
Baton is building an AI-powered marketplace for buying and selling small businesses. We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us scale our platform and improve the experience for buyers and sellers.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain full-stack features for our marketplace
- Work with AI/ML teams to integrate intelligent matching and valuation
- Design and implement scalable APIs and services
- Collaborate with product, design and data teams
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code
What we're looking for
Essential
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in a modern language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go)
- Experience with web frameworks and databases
- Open to visa sponsorship (green card, citizen, or visa holders all work)
Nice to have
- Marketplace or fintech experience
- AI/ML integration experience
