| Responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining Network Operational Support Systems (OSS) – the software applications that manage network. Providing software and computer knowledge in both networking and software development technology. Improving and upgrading system software and software/system maintenance. Contributing to U.S. patent generating for the company on topics like Intent-based Networking, self-assembly of Virtual Network Functions, and Artificial Intelligence applied to network management. Assisting with software transformation in a strategic direction. Providing innovation with Software Strategy & Support, 5G, Fiber to provide high-value technology and solutions. Delivering system automation capabilities across enterprise architects, engineers, and managers across business units within the whole company. Driving delivery of system automation enablers for key CTO and business initiatives 5G, RAN, 5G Core/NC, FN, SDN, Fiber, ROADM, Win Home. Driving towards a single source of truth network inventory platform enabled by leading industry CMDB platforms. Working closely with Solution Architects and System Engineers to ensure that overall software program and product strategies align with business and technical objectives. Enabling the automation of organization in all facets including but not limited to the following areas: development, quality assurance, and software engineering solutions. Creating and designing new technology infrastructures and maintaining configuration management and automation tools. Facilitating important test design decisions for SAFe Trains, business unit projects & program needs. Producing metrics to show an increase in efficiency in the organization. Telecommuting permitted. |
