Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer 4 for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality software solutions.

Rate Range: $60/Hour to $62/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Software Engineer 4 Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and React.js.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver technical solutions.

• Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs and third-party systems while ensuring application performance, security, and reliability.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications through code reviews, debugging, and performance improvements.

• Support DevOps practices, including source code management, CI/CD processes, build deployments, and release management.

• Participate in architecture discussions, technology research, and implementation of cloud-based and modern application solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack Java application development and enterprise web solutions.

• Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and React.js, including designing, developing, and supporting scalable applications.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services integration, SQL databases, and modern software development best practices.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $62.00 per hour
