Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Location: Dearborn, MI
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, onsite at least 4 days/week
Compensation: $63–$70/hr

Summary

This is a senior full-stack developer who will build applications that turn Supply Chain Analytics and AI capabilities into usable products for business users.

They need to work across the application stack:

Angular Front End + Java/Spring Boot Back End + APIs + GCP/Cloud Run + Automated Testing + CI/CD

The candidate will also work with data scientists, AI engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to integrate analytics and AI capabilities into applications.

This isn't just a heads-down developer role. The person needs enough seniority to take ownership, work through ambiguity, mentor others, participate in architecture discussions, and communicate with Ford leadership.

Top Requirements

1. Java + Spring Boot

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot
• Backend services and API development
• Production application development

This should be substantial development experience, not just Java maintenance/support.

2. Angular

• 3+ years of Angular
• Hands-on web front-end development
• Should demonstrate actual Angular application development

I would prioritize Angular over React because Angular is specifically required in the detailed qualifications.

3. Full-Stack Development

They need genuine experience across both sides:

Angular | Java | Spring Boot | APIs | Front-End | Back-End Services

A backend Java developer who only worked alongside an Angular team would be weaker.

4. GCP / Cloud Run

Look strongly for:

GCP | Google Cloud Platform | Cloud Run | Cloud Deployment
