Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer 4 - Contingent to join our team. In this role, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will analyze and resolve multi-faceted challenges, collaborate with key stakeholders, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of software engineering principles and the ability to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Implement solutions by configuring and customizing scripting for all components of the ServiceNow VR product.
Lead complex technology initiatives, including those that are companywide with broad impact.
Design, code, configure, unit test, maintain, and document software deliverables using agreed-upon standards and tools.
Resolve coding, testing, and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature.
Ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met and implement key risk initiatives.
Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues.
Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively.
Code ServiceNow solutions within an Agile Framework.
Qualifications:
5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
7+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience.
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow Application development, installation, or troubleshooting.
5+ years of experience with service-oriented architecture methods.
1+ years of experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, ES5+, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and SQL.
Certified as a ServiceNow System Administrator and Application Developer.
3+ years of experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response.
Certified as ServiceNow Implementation Specialist for Vulnerability Response.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React.
2+ years of experience with RESTful or SOAP web services.
2+ years of Agile experience.
Integration experience with tools like Qualys, Wiz, NVD, and Phosphorus.
