Job Summary:This role involves developing and launching critical backend and full-stack software for tax products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with evolving tax laws. You will quickly master new technologies and contribute to shaping the future of tax engineering by integrating AI and agentic development tools. The position requires building robust systems that translate complex tax regulations into functional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable backend and full-stack tax software.
- Rapidly learn and contribute to diverse technology stacks.
- Integrate and help define the use of AI and agentic development tools.
- Develop automation and tooling to enhance team productivity.
- Translate intricate tax rules into accurate software calculations.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency with AI coding agents and related tools.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new codebases.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
Experience in tax, accounting, or financial software, or a demonstrated strong interest and practical engagement with tax concepts, is highly preferred.
