Overview
Epitec is seeking an experienced
Software Engineer III to join a high-impact development team focused on designing, building, and maintaining modern software solutions. This role is ideal for a strong full-stack engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable applications that improve the user experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications throughout the full software development lifecycle
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Create and contribute to software architecture, application design, and system integrations
- Develop intuitive front-end user experiences using modern web technologies
- Build and maintain back-end services, APIs, and microservices
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and engineering teams
- Implement software testing strategies and quality assurance best practices
- Drive continuous improvement through performance optimization and modern development practices
- Support CI/CD initiatives and automated deployment processes
- Ensure security best practices are incorporated into application development
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance engineering efficiency and solution quality
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of overall IT experience
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Java
- Angular
- MongoDB
- BigQuery
- Tekton
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional experience developing enterprise-scale applications
- Experience building and supporting cloud-based solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple technology stacks and teams
