The Featured Merchant Algorithm (FMA) team provides the world's best offer evaluation experience, ensuring that Amazon customers see the best and most relevant offers for any product at any point in their shopping journey. We are the authority on Featured Offers across Search, Product Detail Page, Homepage, and 50+ widgets. We drive 99% of all units purchased on Amazon WW, serving 5.4MM requests per second.
This is a highly visible high impact position where you will shape the software architecture and directly influence the shopping experience for Amazon customers.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead a high performing team of 10 engineers, transforming the most visible and high impact tier-1 service with AI native development
- Lead the AI development initiatives
- Own the technical strategy and delivery of complex 0-1 programs
- Define team charter, vision, and roadmaps
- Own operational excellence for the team"s systems, ensuring high availability and low latency
- Collaborate with partner teams across Amazon and influence them to deliver value for our customers
