This role focuses on backend engineering, operational readiness, and managing open-source technologies, including Apache Flink and a Kleos-based data platform. The engineer will help improve scalability, reliability, and operational excellence across streaming and managed infrastructure environments.
 
Requirements:

• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language (Java, Python, C++, C#, SQL)

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and operate backend services supporting distributed streaming workloads.
• Build operational readiness capabilities for streaming platforms, data services, and managed infrastructure.
• Develop scalable, fault-tolerant storage, indexing, and query solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to design and deliver cloud-native services.
• Implement monitoring, automation, and reliability improvements for production systems.
• Deliver high-quality software in an agile development environment.
