Key Responsibilities
- Software Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade applications, modules, and REST APIs using Python.
- Database Design & Management: Build, query, and optimize relational and/or non-relational databases connected to Python backends.
- Code Quality & Architecture: Write clean, readable, modular, and reusable Python code adhering to OOP, SOLID principles, and proper software engineering practices.
- System Optimization: Analyze application performance, debug bottlenecks, and optimize database queries and backend workflows.
- Testing & Version Control: Write unit tests, perform integration testing, and maintain code versioning through Git.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional product, architecture, and engineering teams to turn feature requirements into technical solutions.
- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a Tier-1 / Premium Institute.
- Core Python Expertise: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated experience in software development with Python (deep understanding of data structures, OOPs, asynchronous programming, modules, and packaging).
- Database Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience interfacing Python with databases using ORMs (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Django ORM) or native drivers.
- Practical knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), including writing complex SQL queries and indexing.
- Backend / Web Frameworks: Proficiency with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Software Engineering Fundamentals: Strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design basics.
- Development Tools: Proficient with Git, Linux environments, Docker, and RESTful API integration.
- Experience with message queues or event streams (e.g., RabbitMQ, Celery, Kafka).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Obsession with code quality, test coverage, and software design patterns.
- Clear technical communication and collaborative mindset.
