    Description

    Position Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
    Location: Remote
    Duration: 12 months with possible extension

    Job summary:
    Seeking a highly engaged and motivated SDET to join a high-performing and fast-paced application development team. The candidate must have a proven record of working in a complex, matrixed, and fast-paced application development team, should be flexible and an engaging team player.

    Qualification:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years of software testing experience.
    • Experience developing automated test cases using Tricentis TOSCA.
    • Experience developing automated test cases using Playwright with Typescript.

    Responsibilities:
    • Thorough knowledge of automated testing design, Data driven test development techniques, Object recognition, and Test validation.
    • Ability to automate functional, regression, integration and end-to-end test scenarios across web and API layers.
    • Ability to transform business test cases into automated test coverage and to analyze technical and non-technical requirements and translate them into both manual and automatable scenarios.
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define automation test strategies and test plans.
    • Knowledge of Automation tools to ensure the stability of software releases.
    • Ability to detect and report software defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
    • Desire to apply strong testing best practices to develop test design and test approach.
    • Strong communication skills to assist other team members with test design, test approach, testing, story requirement clarification and providing feedback to the development team.
    • A passion for learning new processes and techniques.
