- Develop and execute robust automated API tests (REST/SOAP) and end-to-end scenarios covering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to ensure tests run in CI/CD pipelines and provide immediate, actionable feedback.
- Design test cases, perform exploratory testing, and validate complex workflows not yet automated.
- Participate in code reviews and influence test architecture for reliability, reusability, and scalability.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data integrity validation and test data creation.
- Mentor peers, champion automation best practices, and foster continuous improvement in quality engineering.
- Support manual testing, test case documentation, and quality validation when automation coverage is incomplete.
- Ensure requirements traceability, defect management, and compliance with HIPAA, security, and audit standards.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript for test automation.
- Strong experience in API testing (REST/SOAP).
- Expertise in UI test automation and building scalable frameworks.
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.
- Solid SQL skills for data validation.
- Proven collaboration skills with agile feature teams.
- Ability to explain technical decisions and strategies clearly.
[Preferred Skills]
- Migration experience from Selenium + Java or Postman/Newman to modern frameworks.
- Familiarity with Cypress or similar test automation tools.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., qTest, QMetry) and requirements traceability.
- Knowledge of DevOps quality metrics, test reporting, and dashboarding.
[Benefits]
- Opportunity to be a technical leader in modernizing automation strategy.
- Collaborative, innovation-driven work environment with direct impact on product quality.
- Exposure to the latest tools and DevOps best practices.
- Professional growth through mentoring, architectural decision-making, and cross-team influence.
- Flexible work location; face-to-face interview not required.
