Our team tackles complex challenges in manifest manipulation, dynamic ad decisioning, and real-time reporting, helping customers maximize ad revenue without compromising the viewer experience.     Key job responsibilities

    • Design and implement features for our video streaming and ad insertion service that scale to millions of concurrent viewers
    • Write high-quality, well-tested code that meets our operational excellence standards
    • Participate in the on-call rotation to support our 24/7 video streaming services
    • Collaborate with senior engineers to improve system architecture and operational efficiency
    • Identify and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems
    • Participate in code reviews and help maintain high code quality standards
    • Document technical decisions and share knowledge with the team

    A day in the life

    At AWS Elemental MediaTailor, no two days are the same. Your morning might start with deep diving into a tricky ad insertion bug escalated to the team. Before lunch, you join standup to sync with colleagues across time zones. In the afternoon, you could be drafting a design document for dynamic ad replacement in live sports events, weighing architectural trade-offs. Later, you might help a teammate debug a device-specific ad insertion failure by analyzing internal logs. Throughout the day, you"ll work with native AWS components, collaborate across teams, and make decisions that directly impact the streaming experience of millions of viewers worldwide.
