    Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) powers the physical engine at the heart of Amazon. In the service of our customers, we are innovating in the areas of material handling automation, robotics, machine learning, logistics and transportation.

    The Operations Technology team supports all of the software and infrastructure that powers Amazon"s world-class fulfillment engine. The Operations Technology team in India is looking for a Software Development Engineer to support worldwide expansion of Amazon Fulfillment network.

    The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, able to work on multiple tasks at once, able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure. You are a quick learner who can adapt to new technologies seamlessly. You are able to identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages. You must be able to accurately prioritize projects, make sound judgments, work to improve the customer experience, and get the right things done.

    Key job responsibilities

    • You will experiment, design and deliver large scale highly available software.
    • You are a Full stack developer who provides the solution from front end using react or equivalent frameworks.
    • You deliver solutions that scale to our customers using Cloud/AWS Serverless architectures,
    • You monitor the services using suitable metrics and design mechanism for operational excellence.
    • You tackle complex problems, trouble shoot and provide simple and effective solutions.
