Akkodis is seeking a Software Developer V for a Contract job with a client in Cupertino, CA. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in Swift development, application automation, and software engineering, along with a proven ability to develop robust, production-quality automation solutions.
Rate Range: $89/hour to $91.38/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Software Developer V job responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain Swift-based automation solutions within an existing automation framework.
Create automation workflows based on textual workflow descriptions and video recordings of application behavior.
Design and implement Swift code that automates complex application workflows and user interactions.
Develop automation functionality for system setup activities, including application installation and content deployment.
Implement automated system takedown processes, including application removal, cleanup, and content management.
Debug failing automation scripts, identify root causes, and implement fixes to improve reliability and stability.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
8+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise in:
Swift Development
Application Automation
Software Engineering
Object-Oriented Design
Debugging & Troubleshooting
Performance Optimization
Proven experience delivering high-quality, production-ready software solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using AI/LLMs to generate, accelerate, or optimize production-quality code development.
Experience with application automation frameworks and automation tooling.
Knowledge of computer system performance measurement, benchmarking, and optimization techniques.
Experience developing test automation, workflow automation, or system-level automation solutions.
Familiarity with large-scale software deployment and operational support environments.

Pay Details: $89.00 to $91.38 per hour
