We are looking for a skilled Software Developer specializing in Testing Tools, Automation, and Performance. This onsite contract position is located in Fort Mill, SC. The role involves developing automated test scripts, performing database testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams using leading automation and cloud technologies.
Description
- Develop automated test scripts using a leading programming language and testing framework.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve product quality.
- Perform database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
- Document test cases and results clearly and concisely.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with industry trends in test automation and AI-assisted testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure data product quality.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop test plans and automate test cases.
- Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and identify defects.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure code testability and automation coverage.
- Mentor junior team members on automation framework development and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in a leading programming language and automation framework development.
- Experience with database testing, including writing and executing complex queries.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools and processes.
- Experience with API automation testing and Agile methodologies.
