Job Duties: Supporting enterprise IMS DB/DC environments for insurance and financial applications, ensuring data availability, integrity and performance. Work on database system configuration, maintenance and execution of utilities for data processing. Design and optimize hierarchical database structures and access methods to improve efficiency. Work with DB2 databases and support application development using COBOL and JCL for batch and online processing. Perform performance tuning, capacity planning and implemented backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity. Assist in database design and data validation to maintain consistency across systems. Develop and support application functionalities and automated batch workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration, AWS-based initiatives and provide production support to ensure stable operations.
Other: Full Time. Travel (60%) involved to unanticipated client locations within US.
Requirements: Masters’s Degree (any field) or Equivalent + 1 year of Experience in job offered or related. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience accepted.
