Status: This is a full-time; salaried position

Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm onsite in Cold Spring

JOB SUMMARY: The Software Developer II is responsible for the creating of applications that take into consideration all aspects of application development architecture design including - performance, scalability, coding, caching, security, encryption, session state management, and error logging and testing. The important skills for this position are C#, .Net, SQL, Angular, and other various front end web development technologies.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Full stack development
• Support/Development of front end of web-based applications
• Support and development of existing applications
• Support and development of several websites based on CMS technologies
• Perform QA and work closely with QA team
• Provide technical input/guidance when needed
• Research new technologies and share how they could be integrated into our environment
• Troubleshooting and debugging both internal and external code
• Use of Agile development methodology
• Involved with researching new technology, architecture decisions, and setting coding standards.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor in Computer Science or other IT related field preferred
• 2 year degree in programming or other IT related field with additional experience may be considered
• 5+ years experience minimum specifically with several of the following technologies

o C#

o .Net

o MVC,ASP.NET

o MS SQL

o TypeScript

o Visual Studio

o Angular

o HTML(5)/CSS

o JS/JQuery/AJAX/AngularJS

• Strong collaboration, relationship management, verbal and written communication skills
• Good judgment, logical thinker and detail oriented
• Ability to adapt and understand business
• Ability to drive projects to completion
• Understands Agile methodology and the Scrum process.
