Job Summary (List Format):
- Follow company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.
- Assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
- Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents, providing feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with other development staff to ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Develop and maintain operational and system-level documentation.
- Work on the Video Backend Metadata team, developing and supporting services that deliver video metadata and images to set-top boxes, apps, and platforms.
- Primarily work with Java and Spring Boot on AWS (EKS and EC2) with MongoDB/DocumentDB.
- Fix bugs, implement enhancements, and perform code cleanup.
- Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and regression tests; manage STH 2.0 and GitLab/Jenkins pipelines.
- Validate releases in lower environments and use Splunk/logs to investigate alerts and data issues.
- Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Kiro) for code review, test generation, and documentation.
- Gain early ownership of projects and work closely with senior engineers as part of a small team.
- Work arrangement: 4 days in office, 1 day remote.
