About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and innovative Software Developer Contractor to join our client's team in the banking sector. In this role, you will contribute to developing, creating, and modifying software applications to meet business requirements and enhance system performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize software applications based on user needs and business requirements.
- Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or as part of a team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software applications and integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in software development.
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenance.
Requirements
- Proficiency in embedded software-driven infrastructure automation (Java, Python).
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code & configuration management (Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong knowledge in domain-specific API development & systems integration (Network, Compute, Storage, Cloud, Identity).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines & automated testing, platform engineering modernization, and legacy infrastructure currency remediation.
- 6-9 years of relevant experience in software development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services.
Salary & Benefits
Max bill rate of $151. Additional benefits may include health coverage, training opportunities, and flexible work arrangements.
