About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Software Developer Contractor to join our client's team in the technology sector. In this role, you will contribute to developing, creating, and modifying software applications to meet business requirements, enhancing system performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to provide technical expertise in software development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize software applications based on user needs and business requirements.
- Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software applications and integrations.
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenance.
Requirements
- Experience building, delivering, or supporting AI-enabled solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, AI orchestration frameworks, or related AI technologies in enterprise environments.
- Understanding of Responsible AI principles, including AI governance, security, privacy, transparency, human oversight, and model evaluation best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage AI tools and assistants to improve individual productivity, accelerate delivery, enhance decision-making, automate routine tasks, and improve quality across day-to-day work activities.
- 10+ years of advanced to expert level experience in software development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Python and/or .NET technologies for developing, integrating, and operationalizing AI-enabled applications and services.
- Experience with cloud-native engineering, using FaaS, PaaS, or micro-services on any of the cloud hyperscalers such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, including their AI/ML services.
