Description

In Order to Join the ELEVI Team you will need:

  • You must have a current or active security clearance with a poly.  
  • Possess Seven (7) + years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required or 4 more years experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR 4 years of additional Software Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications and backend services. The ideal candidate has experience developing applications using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js 3, and Vuetify 3, along with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL databases.

     

  • The developer will work collaboratively with development and project teams using GitLab, Jira, and Confluence to manage source code, track development activities, document technical solutions, and support the software development lifecycle.

    • Experience developing web applications and software solutions.
    • Strong programming experience with Java.
    • Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
    • Experience developing applications with js 3.
    • Experience with Vuetify 3 and component-based UI development.
    • Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
    • Experience working with PostgreSQL or another relational database.
    • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
    • Experience using GitLab for version control and collaborative development.
    • Experience using Jira for issue and project tracking.
    • Experience using Confluence for technical and project documentation.
    • Experience developing applications using Visual Studio Code (VS Code).
    • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a development team.
    • Experience building enterprise-level REST APIs.
    • Experience with GitLab CI/CD and automated build/deployment pipelines.
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
    • Knowledge of web accessibility standards, including Section 508 and WCAG.
    • Experience with Maven and NPM-based application builds.
    • Experience with Docker or containerized application development.
    • Familiarity with application servers such as Apache Tomcat.
    • Experience working in Linux-based development or deployment environments.

Some of the day-to-day activitiesThe individual will work with a team of dynamic and innovative engineers to develop new capabilities supporting the front end processing of data for a mission critical tool.

  • The individual will also support the modernization of the front end processing services.
  • Support the modernization of malware analysis and develop techniques for metadata storage for knowledge management to support the defense of national security systems.
  • The engineer will be a part of a team who explores new technologies and prototypes new mission tools and analytics.
  • The team also develops new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission related problems.
