Job Summary:
This role involves developing and supporting critical compensation technology workflows, focusing on building new systems from the ground up. The engineer will be responsible for resolving production issues, implementing enhancements, and contributing to the design and development of scalable compensation solutions. The position requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain code for compensation systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production software application issues.
- Implement new features and system enhancements.
- Create and improve monitoring and metric-gathering systems.
- Document system architecture and processes.
Must-Have Skills:- Java & JavaScript/TypeScript Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and backend services using Java and JavaScript/TypeScript, following best practices for performance, reliability, and code quality.
- AWS & Cloud Engineering: Build, deploy, and support cloud-based applications using AWS services such as DynamoDB, Lambda, and other AWS technologies, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture and scalability.
- Database Technology: Design, develop, and optimize database solutions, including data modeling, queries, performance tuning, and integration with application services across relational and NoSQL databases.
Industry Experience: Experience in the e-commerce or technology industry is preferred.
