Job Summary: Participates inthe review, analysis, modification, customization, development, enhancement and maintenance of applications and systems. Participates in the design, configuring, testing, debugging, and implementation phases of the application systems development process and provides technical support for application systems bug fixes, defects, issue resolution and regular maintenance.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Participates in the configuration, development, and maintenance of enterprise contents including documents, letters and forms, and configuration of new and existing products in the insurance suite
a) Identifies and documents business, functional, and technical problems
b) Develops and analyzes business requirements documents
c) Gathers and/or analyzes requirements for fixes and enhancements; develops and documents application specifications
d) Develops work tasks, estimates, schedules, materials and plans to meet business needs
e) Communicates technical recommendations back to business analysts, subject matter experts and end users
f) Works in development and configuration of applications systems according to provided technical specifications, design and business requirements
g) Ensures the development and maintenance of SDLC artifacts related to implementation
2. Works collaboratively with Architects, Business Analysts, technical leads, QA teams, and subject matter experts of the various upstream and downstream systems in the design and development of solutions to meet business needs
3. Supports QA and UAT execution and deployments in various environments
4. Prepares deployment plan, troubleshoots and resolves production problems
5. Plans release packages of various applications and related components, working with the release management team
6. Follows SDLC processes (e.g., change management processes, release processes, source code controls, build processes, and others), style requirements and all other procedures necessary for data and system integrity
7. Adheres to the best practices during the development process with various team members
8. Supports on-going operational L3 production support and maintenance
a) Monitors processes and creates improvements to performance where applicable
b) Researches cause and determines the impact of production issues
c) Monitors and manages incident and request queues, estimates work required, and works with other team members to prioritize and plan fixes/enhancements
d) Manages incidents and ad hoc requests in terms of severity
e) Provides resolution of incidents and ad hoc requests per established SLAs
f) Provides technical assistance to inquiries regarding issues and/or questions
9. Assists other junior and offshore team members
10. Coordinates and communicates with other teams
11. Performs a variety of tasks using creativity and latitude required

Qualifications:
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in our Bala Cynwyd location and the rest from home.
Salary range $55,000 to $68,000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
