Software Architect

IDR is seeking a Software Architect to join one of our top clients for an onsite opportunity in Suwanee, Georgia. This role involves architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions primarily within AWS cloud environments, with a focus on scalability and security. The position offers the chance to work on a variety of innovative projects in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Position Overview for the Software Architect:

• Architect, design, develop, debug, test, and maintain software programs across diverse environments, emphasizing AWS cloud, firmware, and mobile applications.
• Lead system architectural design efforts within AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring solutions are scalable and secure.
• Support and mentor software engineers through advice, coaching, and educational initiatives.
• Develop software solutions by analyzing information needs and studying system flows, data usage, and work processes.
• Document solutions thoroughly with diagrams, code comments, and clear documentation to facilitate maintenance and scalability.

Requirements for the Software Architect:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of AWS cloud architecture design and development experience.
• 7-10 years of hands-on programming experience.
• Expert-level programming skills in Python and Typescript.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
