Software Architect - Expert

Provide a short description of the Position: This position will support cloud support services, such as cloud integration technical assistance, cloud-based analytic and security programs, and training for Dept personnel on the use of cloud-based tools.

Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: Specific duties will include: designing webservices and applications including researching and documenting technical designs, programming solutions, and customer technical support; developing unit tests and testing processes autonomously to ensure conformity of the application with business requirements and implement change management; managing the release management process, including the testing, promoting and releasing of applications through the development environment; and leading code critique sessions and overseeing the development of technical design documentation. Other related duties as assigned. The architect will also lead database design/development and user-interface enhancements.
