Title: Social Worker
Duration: 2 years
Location: Albany, NY (12206)
Shift Timings:8 am to 5 pm
Pay: USD 35/hr – USD 40/hr

Position summary:
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and able to manage sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism. This position requires strong analytical judgment, the ability to interpret laws and regulations, and experience working within structured regulatory or healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and address written and verbal complaints concerning licensed and unlicensed Adult Care Facilities.
Actively listen to callers, ensuring concerns are addressed respectfully, professionally, and without interruption.
Screen and assess complaints to determine appropriate triage level and investigative timeframe.
Finalize and document initial intake reports within established timeframes (typically within one hour of receipt).
Contact complainants to obtain additional information when necessary.

Qualifications:

Licensed and currently registered in New York State as a:
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) with at least one year of post-bachelor’s social work experience.
Excellent telephone, listening, and written communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with complex data entry systems and case tracking databases.
